Rick Winter is the owner and operator of Winter Jewelry. The company was founded in October of 1980 and served in a wholesale capacity as a supplier and manufacturer to over 8 retail fine jewelry stores in Western New York. Prior to 1980, Rick Winter managed Saffer Jewelers in North Tonawanda, NY where he apprenticed under master craftsman Don Orlando and learned techniques in casting, stone setting, stone identification and goldsmithing. Further, in February 1980, Rick attended the Swigart School of jewelry repair in Cincinati, Ohio and later, the Rio Grande School in Tuscon, Arizona for advanced stone setting.

In 1983, Winter Jewelry began to shift from a wholesale manufacturing entity to a full retail establishment. Rick Winter developed and continues to carry an extensive inventory of platinum and fine gold jewelry as well as a selection of loose precious and semi-precious gemstones and diamonds.

Rick Winter currently serves a clientele of over 7,000 retails customers in Western New York. He recently began to operate in Scottsdale, Arizona as well.
